Introduction

Read the following sentences aloud. Pay attention to the word record. Do you notice a difference in pronunciation?
  • He broke the world record twice.

Exercise 1

Read the sentences below. Decide if the word record is used as a verb or a noun. Then focus on the pronunciation and read the sentence aloud.
